Nurse\nJob Summary: The ER Nurse is a critical member of the
healthcare team responsible for providing high-quality, urgent
medical care to patients in the emergency department (ED). They
assess, monitor, and treat patients with acute medical conditions
and injuries, ensuring prompt and effective care in a fast-paced
and high-pressure environment. The ER Nurse works closely with
doctors, specialists, and other healthcare staff to deliver
patient-centered care while maintaining safety, efficiency, and
compassion.\nKey Responsibilities:\n\n

- Triage patients based on the severity of their condition and
prioritize care accordingly.\n
- Perform thorough physical assessments and obtain detailed
medical histories from patients.\n
- Monitor vital signs, laboratory results, and patient status,

interventions as directed by the physician.\n
- Provide wound care, assist with procedures, and manage trauma
or critical care patients.\n

patient interactions in the electronic medical record

- Work in collaboration with physicians, nurse practitioners,
paramedics, and other healthcare professionals to provide

- Effectively communicate with patients and their families about
diagnoses, treatment plans, and expected outcomes.\n
- Assist with educating patients on follow-up care, preventive
measures, and any necessary lifestyle adjustments.\n\n\n

providing advanced life support (ALS) when needed.\n
- Take swift action in the event of cardiac arrest, trauma, or
other urgent health conditions.\n

- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred; Associate
Degree in Nursing (ADN) required.\n\n\n

- Current state RN license in good standing.\n
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced
Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) required.\n
- Trauma Nurse Core Course (TNCC) and Pediatric Advanced Life
Support (PALS) certifications preferred.\n\n\n
