Job Description:
A company is looking for a Pediatric Coder Physician.
Key Responsibilities
Analyze medical records and accurately code diagnostic and
procedural information
Abstract clinical diagnoses and procedure codes into electronic
medical records
Ensure compliance with coding rules and regulations and provide
quality assurance for medical records
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
High school diploma/GED or equivalent specialized training in
medical record keeping
Certification as a CPC, CCS, CCS-P, CCA, CPC-A, RHIA, or RHIT in
active status
Minimum of six months of professional coding services or related
healthcare experience
Knowledge of ICD and CPT coding principles as per AHIMA and AAPC
standards
Ability to work effectively in a remote setting using coding
software and office programs
