Position Summary: This role will manage several Product Managers who work with cross functional teams through the product development lifecycle in the telematics and IOT data acquisition and products. Must demonstrate strong leadership skills and proven strength in creating, implementing, and managing change while ensuring that internal and customer needs are met. Major Responsibilities: Manage and provide direction to multiple Product Managers on the product development lifecycle Ensure teams are resourced to manage priority products Assist in clearing roadblocks and surfacing issues and recommendations Manage effective relationships with the product team, business process owners, IT and 3rd party vendors, Provide overall management visibility to product development stages, challenges, resolutions etc. Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in a business or IT related field required Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with and lead a team of Product Managers At least 5 years of product, project or process manager experience required in the data space At least 5 years of experience managing complex initiatives in a scaling environment Experience working with customers to understand needs and identifying new ways for the company to deliver Experience with business analysis, process mapping and new process design projects Demonstrated commitment to customer service Ability to prioritize and effectively manage multiple priorities Ability to explain product progress or challenges in non-technical business terms Strong written and oral communication skills, including the ability to present project information to customers and all levels of management Computer skills: Excel, Word, Project, PowerPoint and Visio Bonus: Cloud and/or IOT experience Willingness to work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, travel (if required), complete Penske employment application, submit to a reference verification (to include past employment and education) are required About Penske Truck Leasing/Transportation Solutions Penske Truck Leasing/Transportation Solutions is a premier global transportation provider that delivers essential and innovative transportation, logistics and technology services to help companies and people move forward.
