seeking a Compensation Analyst to join a growing organization in
the professional services industry. This role is designed for an
experienced individual who will contribute to the design,
management, and administration of a global compensation program,
working closely with department managers and the recruitment team.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in compensation
analysis and will play a key role in shaping compensation policies
and practices.Job Description:As a Compensation Analyst, you will
assist in administering and optimizing the firm's compensation
structure for professional staff. You'll manage policies and
guidelines, support the annual merit and bonus award processes, and
work with various teams to benchmark positions. You'll also play an
essential part in the firm's global compensation program and
collaborate with HRIS teams to enhance compensation planning
systems.Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and update job descriptions, classifications, and salary
ranges.
- Analyze employee roles and recommend appropriate placement
within compensation structures.
- Support the annual merit process, track industry salary
changes, and recommend adjustments for below-market
compensation.
- Coordinate and distribute staff compensation statements.
- Collaborate with HRIS teams to implement and optimize
compensation planning systems.
- Lead and coordinate the firm's participation in compensation
surveys and analyze survey data.
- Benchmark positions against market data and help develop
compensation structures for different geographies.
- Assist with the development of compensation strategies,
including pay grades and job classification evaluations.
- Track special payments, attraction bonuses, and other incentive
payments.
- Regularly assess compensation systems to ensure the firm
remains competitive.
- Complete EEOC reporting and assist with budget development and
variance reviews.
- Provide backup support in benefits orientation and assist with
plan audits.
- Perform additional duties as assigned, maintaining a high
standard of confidentiality.Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related
field.
- 5+ years of experience in compensation analysis, preferably
within a law firm or professional services environment.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel.
- Strong familiarity with HRIS systems (Workday preferred).
- Exceptional organizational, analytical, and financial modeling
skills.
- Ability to manage confidential information with
discretion.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative
team.Additional Details:
- Full-time, exempt position.
- Core working hours: Monday - Friday, 9:00 am - 5:30 pm.
- Primarily remote with occasional in-office presence
required.
