Job Description
X-energy is looking for experienced professionals to interview with our reactor Procurement team for the Supply Chain Manager position. This role will support the procurement and operations phase of the Plant, and is needed to evaluate, procure, and implement all software needed to perform procurement activities. They will also provide strategic leadership and direction on supply chain programs, processes, and procedures, as well as provide objective oversight of supply chain to ensure readiness for plant construction, operation, and maintenance.

Job Profile Tasks/Responsibilities

• Manage the Procurement and Operations Implementation for the Plant, ensuring project timelines are met.
• Manage Supply Chain staff by ensuring staff are meeting expectations and promoting staff professional development.
• Develop and implement procurement processes and procedures to support business needs for successful daily operations.
• Manage the execution of daily processes and procedures to ensure compliance to nuclear procurement regulations.
• Manage software systems for successful integration with business operations.
• Provide direction to contract administrators, procurement and sourcing specialists and other supply personnel, as appropriate, within and across spend categories.
• Develop and implement a supplier relationship building strategy.
• Develop and maintain supply chains. Hold suppliers accountable for performance.
• Perform governance and oversight of supply chain activities and support internal and external audits.
• Maintain professional demeanor and behavior at all times in all forms of communication.
• Perform other duties as assigned by manager.
  
  Job Minimum Qualifications
  
  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain or any related engineering discipline from an accredited university or college.
  • Typically, ten plus years' experience in Procurement, Supply Chain, Project Management or related industry experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in data analysis, negotiation skills, conflict management and related accounting experience.
    
    Location: 530 Gaither Road, Rockville MD
    Work Site Expectations: 4-5 days in office per week
    
    Travel Expectations: up to 40% travel (domestic and international)
    
    Hours: standard office schedule are 8:00am-5:00pm ET, Mon-Fri
    
    Compensation
    
    As required by Maryland and other applicable state law, X Energy, LLC (X-energy) lists the expected compensation range for a publicly advertised job opportunity based upon the job requirements (e.g. education/training, experience, skill sets, etc.). Individual candidates who meet the job requirements for the posted position will be offered a salary within this range based on their respective levels of education/training, experience, and other qualifications unique to them. Salary ranges may vary based on the specific office location and region referenced in the posting to take into consideration differences in cost of living and may not be reflective of all regions. Please note that compensation ranges listed for US job postings reflect base salary only and do not include benefits or other incentives.
    
    A reasonable estimate for this position at the level of experience required is:
    $160,000 to $202,400
